Product information
The photoelectric light barrier from the manufacturer SICK, with horizontally adjustable light path, for door safety in trains and buses can be advantageously replaced by a compatible redesign.
The previously quite time-consuming adjustment of the mirror optics, which focuses the light beam on the reflector, is no longer necessary with the new light beamer. The new units can be mounted "plug-and-play" at the pre-defined installation locations of the old units. The left and right light paths can be directed horizontally atan angle of ±12° to the reflectors.
The robust, black anodised aluminium housings are protected against vandalism by, among other things, not having a destructible front pane or lens, so that malfunctions due to scratched, fogged or dirty panes or lenses are no longer occuring.
The infrared light-emitting diodes are so far recessed in the housing that the aforementioned impairments are reliably excluded.
The photoelectric light barriers are designed as double-sided diffuse reflection for prismatic reflectors. The double-acting devices have individually configurable plug-in configurable jumpers, which make it possible to connect the two independent monitoring paths with an or-function on only one output relay. Relays with 3 x 10 to the power of 6 switching cycles are used.
The relays switch with an audible "click", so that the proper function can be checked acoustically on site and is also signalled with an LED.
The connection of the units is made via a plug-in, robust solid terminal plug (1.5mm2 ) in a considerably enlarged terminal compartment.
