VEW VV01 RED

Product Information

The redesign of the XP01 module from the original equipment manufacturer H&B can be replaced with a plug-and-play module thanks to the redesign of the XP01 RED.

The XP01 RED module contains two differential amplifiers (V0, V1) each with four inverting and four non-inverting sockets, whose amplification factor can be discretely selected, or can be constantly set with potential.

The initial polarity of V0 can be suppressed with the corresponding circuitry.

The four feedback resistors (RG) in the amplifier can be activated with bridges, where the unused resistors are set to the 0 potential. Delivery status:

100 kW resistances in the degeneration.

The amplifier is implemented as a "totalizer”, where the sum of the input signals are referenced against a unified value of 10V=100%.

For this purpose the amplification can be discretely selected in 4 phases using bridge circuits or can be continually adjusted using a spindle trimmer.

The desired amplifications is calculated using the V = 1/ΣfG formula.

A capacitor (C1 or C2) parallel to the degeneration determines the frequency in the amplifier. Factory settings: T = 100ms)

When using the XP01 RED in reactor protection, the differential amplifier needs to have a resistance set to 500W 0.1% to convert the set current 0...20mA to a voltage signal of 0...10V.

The V1 amplifier is identical to V0, but without unipolar outlets.

The K0, K1 to K4 potentiometers to be activated can be accessed through the front plate, whose voltage and position can be measured in the boxes 0 to 4. To set direct voltage, the constant voltage VK is se on the potentiometer inlet. The upstream and the base resistors can be soldered on the soldering terminals, to increase the contrast settings.Delivery status: Without R, with soldering bridges

The V2 amplifier is non-inverting with fixed amplification 1 useable as an impedance converter.

The unipolar voltage/current converter implements a UE0…10V in an integrated current of 0…20mA or 4…20mA. The settings are made using the length of the bridge.

The UE0 and UE1 meter boxes allow for the layering of test results. The boxes U0 U1 U2 measure the amplification outlet against ┴.
